Sculpture

I have decided to remake my Crimson Corsair Helmet digitally this time. Now that there are more than two photos out for reference I think I got it much more accurate.

Hopefully I can get it printed soon and start cleaning it up.
I will update once I get into that step.

We had a bearded dragon for a while and I decided he needed a custom rock feature in his habitat.

I made it out of Styrofoam that I covered in grout mix and sealed.

It has little planters in it for live plants.
Lots of climbing and basking spots and hiding places.

He really liked it.

I sculpted this little pony for someone who requested a unicorn in the style of Hello Kitty.

Here are some pictures of some Halloween masks that I sculpted.

This one is kind of a zombie clown.
Here is the finished look of the clown.

This one is Pennywise from IT.
This is what it looks like as a cast silicon mask and fully painted.

I am finally posting the pictures of the Crimson Corsair mask I did for the Force Awakens Premiere. I couldn't find any reference for the back of the helmet since I was making this before the film came out so I came up with my own take.

The cast didn't come out as clean as I wanted but it still looks pretty cool.

Here is a pic of me in full costume on the big night.

I am getting Star Wars fever so bad right now waiting for episode 7 so I did a quick 3 hour sculpt the other day of Yoda. I wanted to see what it would look like if he was a young rebellious padawan. I am really happy with how it came out and it was one of those things that just came out very easy and naturally which is not that common for me.

I have been doing a lot of sculpting and prop fabricating at my internship lately for Armikrog but I should probably wait till the game ships to show stuff from that.

For Halloween this year I made a Starlord costume from Guardians of the Galaxy that included lots of sewing and also this cool helmet that I built from cardboard that clips together on my head with magnets.

I also found this poor broken statue of Mickey Mouse animating at his desk and restored it to its former glory. Good as new!

I sculpted my character from the dialog test I did and did a quick turn around video of the sculpture. He is a gharial tribal shaman type guy.

Here are some pictures of the Figure and Portrait Sculpture class that I took.

These three pictures are from a portrait sculpture from a live model that took around 20 hours.

This figure sculpture from a live model took around 12 hours.

This was a quick 3 hour sculpt from a live model.
